Urgent Action:  Make a Difference by October 21st

Comment on Stateline to Stateline 30 mi Bikeway Project.

If you enjoy bike riding in Tahoe – here’s your chance to weigh in on 2 proposed options for a 12 mile stretch of this bike lane from Incline to Spooner Summit. Option A – blast through rock on the mountain side of hwy 28…Option B blast through boulders on the lake side of hwy 28, or Option C – do nothing.

But what if Option C ‘do nothing’ was no blasting and just use the lake side lane of the hwy  between Hidden Beach and Spooner Summit as the BIKE LANE! ( no one lives along that stretch) Use the mountain side lane for a public transit and add a water ferry to the lake to transport the cars from Incline and Kings Beach to Sand Harbor, Zephr Cove. With the $100M proposed construction budget to blast boulders you could by a lot of ferry’s
